The Hartford Marathon Foundation is hosting a fundraiser Thursday, August 21st at Spris in Hartford. They operate solely from donations and events like this one. We have brought together our suppliers for an unforgettable evening featuring some of the finest Italian wines available. Donations to attend are $75 per person beforehand and $85 at the door. There will be a special reserve tasting held immediately before the event where our Master Sommelier, Nelson Veiga will pour Super Tuscans and Barolos, the likes of which include Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia. Space is limited for the reserve tasting, and tickets for that tasting will be $150 per person, which includes admission into the main event tasting.

And, gear-up for an incredible tasting event only at Dotcom Wines - Allistair Ashmead, owner of Elderton Winery in Australia will be pouring in our store on Saturday, September 13th from 2-5pm. Elderton is one of Australia’s ‘blue chip’ estates. The 2004 Command Shiraz received and 98 point rating from Robert Parker and Allistair will be tasting through some of these great wines and will happily sign bottles. This is a tasting not to be missed. As always, Saturday tastings are free at Dotcom Wines, so come by and enjoy this rare opportunity to taste fine wines and meet Mr. Ashmead.
